Founding team looking for a well-rounded web developer with deep JavaScript skills. Great opportunity for a talented developer with a taste for product to build a grand vision from the ground up. You’ll work closely with the company founders and have significant influence over product strategy and direction.
The right person:
• Solves serious real world problems with code
• Believes in an Agile-based, test-heavy development methodology
• Knows Ruby, Python, or server-side Javascript (Node.js), and is ready to learn more
• Has a strong grasp of Javascript frameworks (jQuery, Backbone.js, or comparable) and a view to making real, maintainable, tested software with Javascript
• Likes to experiment, try out new ideas, and make mistakes
• Has solid experience with third-party API integration (REST or other), for example: Facebook API, Amazon Web Services, Twilio, etc.
• Always thinks about the user
