“Japan Pavilion WA” at Natural Products Expo

Project Description:
“Japan Pavilion -WA-“is one of the country pavilions at “Natural Products Expo”, the world largest exhibition of organic, natural and ecological products and services.
Unlike conventional pavilions, Japan Pavilion -WA- combines on-site exhibits and on-line exhibits to become an innovative event.
“WA” means peacefulness, harmonization, compassion, and sympathy. Japan Pavilion -WA- at Natural Products Expo is founded to transmit the spirit of “WA: harmony” to the globe. We introduce various products derived from Japanese culture of “WA”.
We provide opportunities for buyers to make direct communications with exhibitors and take items in their hands.
Our website always host a virtual pavilion where buyers can register for free, request free samples and receive latest news about various products.
Skills:
We are looking for one to two students to help to develop this website, on-line exhibition.
– Passion and interest for cultual exchange (important!)
– Wordpreee customization(basic html, css, php, etc)
– Online marketing(SEO, social media, newsletter, blog)
– CRM(Customer Relationship Management)
– Good and creative English writing skill
– Graphic Design, Photo Editing
– Microsoft Excel, word, powerpoint
Weekly Assignment
You can get 2 credit for 6 hours/week.
30min to 1 hour weekly meeting at ITP. You don’t have to commute to my offie.  You can do your assinment at home/school, etc.
Future Opportunity
This internship is unpaid, but when you complete, you may have paid projects. When Japanese companies starts their business in US, they need communication tools, such as  website, business card, brochure, Facebook, twitter.
