[JOB] ISO Technical Co-Founder, Givkwik

An early stage startup in the Social Innovation space (born in New York, but now based in San Francisco) is looking for a competent, reliable, imaginative, accountable technical professional who can work well autonomously but also in collaboration, who strives to exceed expectations wherever possible, is willing and able to work some long hours and is both flexible and open-minded and a good, personable literal and visual communicator to fill the role of “technical” Co-Founder. Experience with respect to the trials and tribulations of startup ventures would also be ideal.

The ideal candidate would feel comfortable taking on a “proof of concept” front-end and back-end platform already some-what built and bringing it to the next level of production-readiness in order to validate original concepts and pursue additional investment. Proficiency in iOS (and later Android), HTML5/CSS, along with Linux, Apache, MySQL and PhP is a very strong requirement. The ideal candidate would also have experience in project management of software development by third parties (where necessary). Salary and equity options are negotiable.

Givkwik has just received seed funding from Hub Ventures in San Francisco, CA and is looking to change the world for the better through social mobile micro-philanthropy. Please check out our recent press in TechCrunch

Givkwik is led by Jason Rosado, a recently transplanted New Yorker, with 15 years of experience in transaction services / electronic commerce based banking, a Liberal Arts degree from Wesleyan University and a Master’s Degree from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program. Jason previously helped to found a scholarship and grant foundation (lulfoundation.org) as well as a website dedicated to Buenos Aires (whatsupbuenosaires.com).

If interested, please send a resume (or LinkedIn profile) with examples of previous work, and a note to Jason.Rosado@givkwik.com. Thanks!
