[JOB] Assistant Manager, M·A·C Cosmetics

POSITION:  ASSISTANT MANAGER, M·A·C ONLINE

 

DESCRIPTION OF JOB FUNCTION:

Responsible for the execution of online site development activities related to M·A·C Cosmetics in North America and international markets.  Provide daily support to M·A·C International markets for regular maintenance and development of new sites and site enhancements, focusing on the customer experience as it differs for each market.  Work in conjunction with ELC Online International to identify, support and launch E-Commerce/M-Commerce into new markets.

Reports to Director of Global Site Experience.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

 

  • Develop intrinsic knowledge of the M·A·C online style guide and site mechanics to work with each market to develop online identities (sites, email, mobile technology, etc.) Within M·A·C standards
  • Be key online brand lead for all global e-commerce and mobile launch projects
  • Work with regional marketing managers and online managers to ensure that local online needs are met, in terms of new functionality, new launches and site fixes
  • Monitor sites in each market regularly to ensure adherence to strict M·A·C standards and ensure brand consistency
  • Interface with markets to organize content calendars to support site development and creative asset requests
  • Track and ensure delivery of all international creative requests.
  • Work with domestic online group to ensure shared requests meet the needs of international markets
  • Support online managers in international markets with database and technical knowledge, provide training when needed
  • Conduct analysis of marketing and site development projects  through Coremetrics to make recommendations for future projects and new enhancements
  • Support Director of Site Experience in rolling out new redesign projects to all markets which will involve obtaining design approval, testing the sites and reporting and tracking bugs
  • Manage and mentor Global Site Coordinator

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 3+ years project management experience
  • At least 3+ years of online ecommerce experience
  • Able to effectively communicate to all levels of peer groups and management
  • Able to effectively collaborate and influence across groups, locally and abroad
  • Pro-active problem solving abilities
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of any language other than English a plus
  • Working knowledge of a PM software a plus
  • Minimal travel and some odd work hours required
