JOB: Awearable Apparel Freelance Solder Tech

JOB DESCRIPTION – FREELANCE -P/T SOLDER TECH
We love technology and creativity. We seek a sharp and nimble Solder Tech to join our
team on a contract, P/T basis as we design and develop the first real-time location
platform for groups — no phone, cell network, wifi or map required.
Timing:
Approximately 60 hours across the first 2 weeks of July 2016, with possibility of more work in later July
+ August, TBD.
Rate:
$25 – $35/hour
Duties:
● Solder surface mount components (fine-pitch QFN, DFN, 0201 passives etc.).
● Perform visual inspection of PCB’s to ensure internal standards of quality.
● Reflow and rework 0201 and leadless components easily.
● Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
● Experience soldering surface mount and through-hole components.
● Experience inspecting surface mount components using a microscope.
● Good working knowledge of ESD safety procedures.
● Expected to read and comprehend process documentation including Bills of Materials (BOM)
and assembly drawings.
● Expected to communicate well in English both verbally and in written format.
● Component identification ability required.
● Candidates should be very organized with the ability to keep count of parts.
● Candidates should have the ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
