Digital Artist Intern, Marketing Communications 
Marcom is Apple’s Global Marketing Communications group. We lead all of Apple’s advertising and marketing to ensure the flawless development and execution of extraordinary communications.

Apple is looking for the best and the brightest creative intern to join our 3D Design group. We are looking for 3D focused students who are interested in creating conceptual imagery for ideation and visualization of Apple’s global marketing materials.

An intern has the opportunity to work closely with 3D artists, designers, art directors, creative directors, writers, producers, and production artists to gain an understanding of the various skills required to develop high-profile projects that meet Apple’s rigorous standards.
Key Qualifications
3D Generalist track using Maya, Cinema4d or an equivalent 3D app
Has a portfolio that displays an eye for light, color, composition, form and design
General understanding of 3D content creation – modeling, texturing, lighting and animation.
Proficient in Nuke and/or Photoshop, After Effects
Experience with Houdini and simulations is a plus
Excellent communication skills when working with art directors and creatives on a coherent visual style
Outstanding attention to detail and a passion for quality and the pursuit of artistic excellence
Highly organized, self-motivated and able to adapt and learn in a fast paced environment
Description
As a Digital Artist intern, the candidate will be an integral part of the concept art team working on a variety of conceptual visualization projects across various media channels. These concepts are explored in still and motion, and span a broad spectrum of styles from highly detailed product ads to brand identity campaigns. He or she needs an exceptional sense of taste and an ability to adapt to a variety of visual styles, as well as a deep technical understanding  and the ability to create a variety of impactful, exciting imagery with speed and precision. In addition to these technical abilities, the candidate must be deadline-driven and possess excellent problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills. The candidate should also be a proactive and independent artist, able to adapt to ever changing situations with creativity and innovation and work in ambiguity while still delivering results on time.
Education
Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree-seeking program during the time of internship, sorry no recent grads.
