The Earth Celebrations internship is an opportunity to engage on the Ecological City – Cultural & Climate Solutions Action and Archival Garden Preservation Projects. Interns can document and edit short videos and mini documentaries featuring these inspiring climate action initiatives based on the Lower East Side of New York City.
Earth Celebrations is a non-profit organization applying the the arts to engage communities to address, mobilize action and develop solutions to local environmental and climate challenges. They are currently working on our Ecological City: Art & Climate Solutions Action Project, engaging the Lower East Side community on climate solution initiatives to mitigate flooding, run-off, carbon pollution and the consequences of consequences of climate change throughout the network of community gardens, neighborhood and East River Park waterfront.
