Octopart is seeking graduate and undergraduate frontend summer interns and full time employees for 2012 in New York City. We are an electronics parts search engine providing open access to engineering specifications and pricing info for tens of millions of components, with over 600k international engineers, students, inventors, and part purchasers as users.
We are looking for people with at least a passing passion for electronics and the ability to get stuff done; those with relevant experience or the ability to learn very quickly will get the most out of the summer. We mostly code in Python but will try whatever tool is most appropriate for the job. We want to hire someone who has strong ideas about how to make our user experience 10x better and the drive to make it happen.
