[INTERN] Spring Internship at CoCollective

Co:Collective is a growth partner for the 21st century CMO & CEO. We develop business strategy, brand story, product innovation and new ventures, using a new model: flexible collaboration with a network of expert partners. We work with Fortune 500 companies that know they need to change and startups with big ambitions.
Spring Internship
We are seeking unique individuals who sit at the intersection of right brain creative thinking and left brain strategic analysis to collaborate with Co:Collective’ team members on various innovation projects for our clients.
As an intern with CoCollective, you will be responsible for:
• Developing powerful company, category and consumer insights, and synthesizing your observations in a way that help elevate our clients’ brand story.
• Monitoring (and having thoughtful opinions on) the changing digital landscape, including social, mobile and emerging trends.
• Contributing to the development and definition of products or platforms that
create value for the brand.
Candidates should have:
• A passion for marketing innovation, with a proven ability to think commercially,
strategically and creatively.
• Breadth of experience/ diverse background, as well as a natural inclination to
explore and articulate the bigger picture.
• Creative passion/ storytelling skills. The degree to which your career path has
allowed you to professionally flex your creative side matters less to us than
understanding what you’re capable of, and seeing your ability to express your
thinking in a compelling way. Our strategic work becomes embedded in the brands we work with, so the ability to collaborate with (internal and external) creative partners to inspire and build out ideas/ products is extremely important.
• An ability to move seamlessly from high altitude thinking to the tangible/ practical.
• Readiness to defend your gut feel –and able to support it with commercial and
strategic rationale. Be curious. Ask questions. Speak your mind.
This unpaid internship will start in February 2013, and we will work with you to get you credit at your school. Please send your resume, cover letter and any relevant examples of previous work to Eva McCloskey at emccloskey@cocollective.com with the subject line: SPRING INTERNSHIP.
We are especially curious to hear what you’re interested in and excited about
professionally – how does this relate to the work we’re doing at CoCollective?
Please include your availability (weekly days/ hours) for Feb – June 2013.
