IN NEED OF HELP: installing and troubleshooting Face substitution software

PROJECT BRIEF: As part of a larger installation that deals with privacy, social

media, and American politics since the 2008 financial crisis, I’m producing a

series of videos that will involve face substitution—compositing the faces of live

actors with faces from photographs.

SEEKING / QUALIFICATIONS:

– An artist or programmer who can help me install and troubleshoot Face Substitution software on two 2014 Mac computers

RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Installing and troubleshooting software on computers prior to November shoot

– Thinking through any potential issues with post-production/editing

– Thinking through software’s use in production work-flow

– Potentially processing footage through software if schedule permits

TIME-LINE:

– Pre-production: Now-early November

– Video shoots: early-Mid-November

– Post-production: December/January

COMPENSATION:

– Working with a non-profit budget on the project, but I can offer a modest fee

and credit in the final videos and related materials.
