Sae: Future of Camera Everywhere

Probably the strongest impact of the ubiquitous presence of cameras would be found in the networked(or cloud) sharing of the images and their metadata. There will be images available from anywhere at anytime and whoever is in search of a specific image will have much easier time finding what he/she was looking for thanks to the information embedded in the meta data of the image(photo and video). The potential of metadata seems infinite at the moment from tagging faces with facial recognition to GPS location of where the picture was taken.
With the help of augmented reality technology, such progress in the image sharing will take on a new platform where people can contribute additional pieces of informations onto the image and start building WIKI type of awareness around the visual informations held in the shared image.
Lastly I hope there would be a platform where shared images around a similar topic or subject will create more comprehensive awareness around the subject, whether it be 360 degree surround vision or another representation of the visual information that surrounds the subject.
