In order to reduce the amount of food waste going to the landfill, the kitchen is equipped with a Reencle composting machine, which accepts most food scraps. It generally does not do well with pits, shells, bones, and oils, so please refrain from adding those into the composter. The composter also fills up quickly, especially on Mondays when the refrigerators are cleaned out. If the Reencle is full past its fill line, please do not add food scraps until it is emptied out by a staff member or student employee.
