Skeleton Tracking Ideas

1. Workout Soundtrack – When walking or running on a treadmill, a soundtrack is generated based on the movement of the body. For example a kick drum could trigger each time a foot lands.

2. Pose As Password – Instead of a text based password, the user must strike a specific pose to unlock something.

3. Body Scramble – Break the body down into pieces and recombine them, changing places of the limbs and head. A similar idea with several users in a scene where heads are transposed from one body to another.

4. Wildlife Analysis – Observe animals in the wild to collect data on their biological traits and behaviors such as their gate.

5. Dance Game or Instruction – Use tracking to score accuracy in competitive or instructional environment.

6. Soccer Penalty Kick – One user plays the shooter and the other the goalie. The velocity of the ball is determined by the speed and direction of the foot as it approaches the ball. Would need to mark a spot in the physical space where the virtual ball sits. The same basic concept can be adapted to other sports games like baseball and golf.

7. Simon Says – The computer plays the role of Simon. Pre-program the instructions and use skeleton tracking to determine if the players are in compliance.

8. Air Drums – Drum and cymbal sounds triggered by the motion of the arms and legs.

9. Hula Hoop – Use the position and movement of the hips to keep the hoop up.

10. Store Window Display – A screen could show passersby with products such as clothes, hats, and glasses superimposed on them.
