09/04/23Labor Day (University Holiday – no classes scheduled / University offices are closed)
09/05/23Fa23 Classes Begin
09/18/23– Last day to add/drop/swap in Albert
– Last day to drop a class and not receive a grade of ‘W’
– Last day to drop a class and receive a 100% refund of tuition and fees (for late-starting courses – see below) (for complete withdrawals – see the Refund Schedule below)
09/23/23– Last day to drop ITP weekend course #1: “Experiments on the Embodied Web” with no ‘W’ and 100% refund of tuition and fees
09/30/23– Last day to drop ITP weekend course #2: “Low-fi/High-impact” with no ‘W’ and 100% refund of tuition and fees
10/07/23– Last day to drop ITP weekend course #3: “Learning the World One Thing at a Time” with no ‘W’ and 100% refund of tuition and fees
10/09/23Fall Break (no classes scheduled)
10/10/23Legislative Monday (classes meet according to a Monday schedule)
10/11/23– Last day to withdraw from 7W1 classes (with ‘W’ / no refund)
– Last day to request a pass/fail option for a 7W1 class
10/15/23– Last day to drop ITP weekend course #4: “Liminal Productions” with no ‘W’ and 100% refund of tuition and fees
10/21/23– Last day to drop ITP weekend course #5: “Masquerade” with no ‘W’ and 100% refund of tuition and fees
10/31/23– Last day to drop a 7W2 class and not receive a grade of “W”
– Last day to drop a 7W2 class and receive a 100% refund of tuition and fees (for complete withdrawal refund schedule – see below)
11/11/23– Last day to drop ITP weekend course #6: “Textile Interfaces” with no ‘W’ and 100% refund of tuition and fees
11/22/23Fall Break (no classes scheduled)
11/23/23 –
11/24/23		Thanksgiving Recess (University Holiday – no classes scheduled / University offices are closed)
12/04/23– Last day to withdraw from 14W / 7W2 classes (with ‘W’ / no refund)
– Last day to request a pass/fail option for a 14W / 7W2 class
12/15/23Last Day of Fa23 Classes

Refund Schedule for Complete Withdrawals:

For a complete withdrawal [withdrawing from all NYU classes for the term — meaning a leave of absence (can only be requested in weeks 1-2 of the semester in question), or a total withdrawal from the ITP / IMA programs] please see the Refund Schedule, which is published here.
